“Project 8 has received critical acclaim since its launch,” said Jaguar engineering director Jamal Hameedi. “The Touring specification extends the appeal of Project 8 to enthusiasts and collectors who prefer a more discreet appearance, without compromising its driver-centric road dynamics.
Only 15 Touring specification cars will be sold, each of which will be handmade at the company$0027s technical centre in Warwickshire. With such a limited number, prices are expected to be higher than the standard £149,995 car.
SV Project 8 currently holds lap records for a production saloon on three continents, securing first place at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the Dubai Autodrome and Laguna Seca in 2018.
